Over the years, Rick Astley has had numerous encounters with the Foo Fighters. His newest single is a lovely combination of his smash hit "Never Gonna Give You Up" and the Foo's "Best of You."
The mashup was inspired by vocalist Dave Grohl's recent co-hosting stint on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where Grohl did a segment dubbed "IRL Dave G'Roll" on Rick Rolling meme culture.
Astley commented on social media with the video below. “Dave, Jimmy, I saw your clip on YouTube,” it said. Exceptional!! I was compelled to answer — keep on ‘Rollin' Rick.” And, oh, does he wail at the very end!
